Coenraad van Houten was born in the

Britain as a manager in business, as a consultant, and as the director
of the Centre for Social Development (which he co-founded). He has

Shirley van Houten was born in Canada in 1935. She gained her
education through work experience, taking on initiatives in relation to
anthroposophy. Two major initiatives were the Toronto Waldorf School for
education of children and the Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto for adult
education. She identified her career as "possible-maker".
Following training at the Centre for Social Development in England, she
moved there in 1989 to pioneer yet another initiative, the Anthroposopohical Schooling Course, with Coenraad van Houten and others.
Ten years later its development culminated in the international New
Adult Learning Movement, as a free association of individuals who carry
a common intention. |

Hans Supenkämper, born 1949, is living in a curative community in Bayern / Germany since 1979. He was there the biodynamic farmer and housefather for adult handicapped people. Since 2007 he is working for WALA, travelling to many countries to teach farmers in biodynamic farming especially in rose cultivation. There he got the opportunity of applying the experiences and results of “New Learning” in a practical field. The NALM work he met in 1996 and since 1999 he is busy in giving and carrying NALM-courses. He found the expression of “Spiritual Composting”, where you develop your individual “wastes – one-sidenesses and blockages” to new faculties and forces for social processes. Malcolm Daniels
Malcolm Daniels worked for over 30 years in British Telecommunications, latterly as a Marketing Executive but prior to which he had much experience in finance and selling.
He attended the first Anthroposophical Schooling Course to be held in the UK and then attended two more in subsequent years first as a participant/facilitator/bursar and then as a co-carrier.
Training extensively with Coenraad van Houten and others at the Centre for Social Development made him ready to run his own workshop seminars which he has run extensively throughout the UK. He pioneered the Adult Learning work in Russia and Romania and was co carrier of the impulses in Poland and in South Africa.
Many conferences on various anthroposophical themes were organised by him in the UK. From 2001 onwards he hosted and organised self-training seminars for potential facilitators in Adult Learning.
He continues to host anthroposophical retreat events at his house. As well as continuing to run Destiny Learning and other seminars, he is also now particularly interested in the Manichean path for the future.
