Whitsun 2008 10 – 12 May in Berlin Theme: Cooperation - Project Handling in the NALM
We soon have our next Whitsun weekend in Berlin around the question: “How do we handle projects in the NALM?” How do we cooperate?
At the moment there is a change in requests we receive from outside. Where our main training in Engen had a very important place in the training strategy in the past, we now get more and more requests to train people in different countries, not just in the form of courses but in the form of full trainings. This demands a new way of thinking from us.
How can we cooperate in such a way that our faculties will be used in the most effective way and the participants in different countries get the best possible training? Are trainings to be carried by a team of colleagues or by individuals? How to build teams? What is a modern way of cooperating for a movement of which the colleagues live in different countries and its functioning depends on the initiative of each colleague and their competence? By the karma network people find and call on one another, through knowing one another and having confidence.
Therefore another very concrete question is: who can be available and cooperate in the projects when there is a demand for it, according to what is needed? At the moment we can think about Italy, Russia, Canada, Denmark and maybe Austria. Other places are waiting because there is a lack of people, such as Romania.
To make it short, we are searching for a new way of cooperating. We are also searching for more carrying colleagues.
We are aware this has further implications such as finances. Also, how shall the NALM be visible in order to give the best support for the NALM and for the Colleagues?
This Whitsun meeting will be open for colleagues that connected themselves officially with the movement and for people that have intentions in that direction. Our expectations for colleagueship you find on the website.
